Meet 'Black Attack', Calvin Baltimore's 447 CI C5R Corvette. This car is a frequent participant in car shows all over the U.S., as well as a frequent visitor to tracks all over the country.

Black Attack has been under the knife for the past year to come out as the single fastest stock suspension C5 Corvette in the world, breaking the long held record of 9.95 with a smashing 1\4 mile record of 9.46 at 146 mph on it's first hard pass of the day.  The vehicle was worked on and tuned by F-Body Central, a leader in Corvette and F-body performance in the Maryland area.  

Calvin Baltimore and his team have held back nothing in the creation of this insanely quick corvette.  From the engine bay to the interior of the car, the Black Attack team has left no stone unturned, with a beautifully designed race built interior and a clean and chrome finished 447 CI C5R Engine.

The two pictures below justify a manual to automatic transmission conversion of which was done 3 years ago. While racing this car, Calvin came to the conclusion that the manual could not keep up with all the power that was desired to break a world record. You can will see results of broken parts such as: the 6 speed manual transmission (transmission output shaft) and the shattering of the differential.
